Installation image

Installation

An OsseoSpeed 3.0 S 13 mm long just before installation. This represents an ideal case since the bucco - ligual bone ridge is very narrow. Final drill was 2.7 mm and the TX apex makes placement of the implant in the drilled well easy.

Post-op X-ray

Post-op X-ray

It is clearly shown on the x-rays that the dental ligaments remains intact despite the limited space between adjacent teeth and the canine root is leaning slightly mesially. Good initial stability was achieved and healing abutment was placed on the implant for the 10 weeks healing period before placement of the crown.

Follow-up 6 months

Follow-up

4 months after loading the healing has progress well and the soft tissue has regaind the papilla to both adjacent teeth.
