The new £2 million London Dental Education Centre LonDEC was officially opened by Professor Ann Keen MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Health Services in the presence of Dr Barry Cockcroft, Chief Dental Officer for England.
The Centre is based in the Franklin-Wilkins building, Waterloo Campus, King’s College London.

This facility will enable us to hold some of our dental education programmes here, and have “live links” with our own worldwide educational centre in Mölndal, Sweden. Driving up Standards
The centre aims to drive up clinical standards and improve training in modern approaches to the delivery of dental and oral healthcare for London. The centre also plans to improve clinical leadership amongst dental professionals via continuous personal and professional development.
